Author Guidelines

Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise English and submitted through our online submission system. All submissions undergo initial editorial screening followed by peer review.

Manuscript Types

Original Research Articles (max 5,000 words): Reports of original research with significant findings.

Brief Reports (max 2,500 words): Concise reports of preliminary or focused findings.

Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (max 6,000 words): Comprehensive synthesis of evidence following PRISMA guidelines.

Methodological Papers (max 4,000 words): Novel methodological approaches or validated tools.

Perspective/Commentary (max 2,000 words): Expert opinions on current issues or controversies.

Manuscript Structure

Original research articles should include:

  • Title: Concise and informative (max 20 words)
  • Abstract: Structured abstract (Background, Methods, Results, Conclusions) max 300 words
  • Keywords: 3-6 keywords using MeSH terms
  • Introduction: Background and study objectives
  • Methods: Detailed methodology enabling replication
  • Results: Presented with appropriate statistics
  • Discussion: Interpretation, limitations, and implications
  • Conclusions: Key findings and recommendations
  • References: Vancouver style, numbered in order of appearance

Ethical Requirements

  • Research involving human subjects must have ethics committee approval
  • Informed consent must be obtained from participants
  • Clinical trials must be registered in recognized databases
  • Authors must declare conflicts of interest and funding sources

Data Availability

CETID encourages data sharing. Authors should provide statements on data availability and deposit datasets in recognized repositories when possible.

Submission Checklist

  • Cover letter explaining significance and confirming originality
  • Manuscript file (Word format preferred)
  • Figures and tables (high resolution, separate files)
  • Supplementary materials (if applicable)
  • Completed authorship and conflict of interest forms
  • Ethics approval documentation

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
